Greetings and welcome to our blog! Our kindergarten blog has been designed – with learning in mind! It serves two purposes. First and foremost, the posts on our blog have been created to connect classroom content to our home. Our teacher, Mrs. Patrick chooses blog posts that align with our curriculum and thematic studies. Then our parents help us read the blog posts and comment. We think that it is fantastic that we can add our own audio and video comments to the blog. By getting our parents to help us on the blog, we are having conversations about what is going on in school and making connections that are necessary for learning. The other reason we have a blog is to keep or parents and relatives connected to our classroom. When our families show an interest in what is going on in our kindergarten room, we become more excited about learning. Lastly, kindergarten is much more fun with a blog! Who wouldn’t want to tell the world about what they are learning?
