Technology has made it difficult to “keep up with the times,” hasn’t it? I find myself asking questions about technology all too often. About six months ago, I was asking myself, “What is Twitter, anyways?”, “What is an RSS feed?”, and “What is a widget?”. I used to be a teacher that questioned how I was going to implement technology with my kindergarten students. Amazingly enough, here we are a few years later, blogging together. What a wonderful opportunity for our children. Not only are they learning content but they are also learning about the global world we live in, how to use the technology that’s available, and how to collaborate with others. I am amazed at what a simple post can do for our students. I am also amazed at what it can do for you and me. I don’t know about you, but I have learned at least 100 new things about technology and I can certainly say that I learn something new each time I post on the blog! This page has been designed to enable parents, teachers, and family members to download important information from our classroom. I will be posting PDF files here that are usually sent home in our BEE books. If you would like to pass along this information to your family, friends, and coworkers they will be able to access these things. As always, thanks for visiting – it certainly makes my time worthwhile!

Thank you for taking to time to post these things. Technology is always changing and ever important. It is very nice to see the kids learning and what exactly it is that they are learning. It is hard for the kids to tell you what they are doing at times, it helps having the newsletters to go off of. Its like a refresh and encourages me to ask the right questions while letting them think about the answers. The fire safety videos were very cute, its never to early to learn fire prevention. Thanks again!

It’s nice to see what the kids are doing because they don’t always say what is going or what they are learning about. Thank you Mrs. Patrick for taking the time to post all of this. The videos are cute, tecnology is amazing!

I agree with the other parents. I also appreciate the time Mrs. Patrick takes to keep us parents updated. I love the newsletters. They help to spark conversations about the things they have done in school all week.
Brett loves to show this website to his cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, sisters, brother, anyone who will watch!
